The Empire Mine State Park is vital to our community and for anyone who has come to visit, both in terms of its historical significance and recreational opportunities. It would not be right to take away such an important resource from current and future generations. State Parks like these are a great part of what makes California so attractive.

This is very important! I went on field trips when I went to school & I remember it still. This is a great part of history for our children to see.

Empire Mine is an historic focal point in California history, not to mention a beautiful point of interest for the tourist industry in Nevada County. The California state government needs to protect historical parks of this caliber, not close them down!

I was married here a few years ago and this is one of the most beautiful places I have ever had the pleasure of visiting, and having as the setting for my wedding. We have gone back on our anniversary each year and hope to do so for mayb more years to come! Don't sell Empire Mine! Keep it available for many more people and future generations to enjoy!
