I first moved to Grass Valley when I was a child in 2001 and lived off South Auburn St. which is one of the cross streets of the mine, and I soon discovered the beautiful place to hike, run, and walk. it became a huge part of my young adulthood and I was there almost daily. I still frequent that park whenever I come to visit from Sacramento. I could never imagine not having such a historical landmark taken from that beautiful community. Please keep this place a state park!

My husband and I were married at this beautiful park in 2011. We hope to be able to continue to visit the park and revisit one of the happiest days of our lives off years to come!

Have visited this Summer Estate of the same family who owned Fioli Gardens!!!!!! A treasure that should be saved from the gold rush days!!!!!!
