This will cause these ladies more upset and confusion. Leave them alone. It is a cruel enough illness without causing them more harm.

Please allow these elderly ladies their dignity, by staying where they are. Let them have choices, dementia takes everthing else away from these poor souls x

These ladies deserve to live the final stages of their lives in comfort. Moving them to somewhere new will cause too much confusion and anxiety. They need structured stability!

I don't think this is right as we have been through this before with my gran, now my auntie which is in this ward. I have noticed when they got moved last time that they all become seriously not well like my gran that passed away in this ward. I think they should be left here as they are settled already as I come in and notice because I know all the patients and know they are happy here, let them have rest for the years to come please.

Shocking news with no consideration of the dementia patients needs or care and no consideration of the patients families or existing hospital staff who care for them

In an age where our population is living longer and somen statistically are shown to outlive men, it is ridiculous to reduce the female bed spaces. The result of this propsed change leaves a gender Iimbalance for care of the elderly. It removes choice and is a cruel blow to the ladies who are presently receiving the correct care but face an unknown futude in a new mixed gender environment.

My aunt resides here, moving her will cause upset and more confusion.
