Aren't there more important things to be worried about than art being displayed at our recycling center?
It would be great to know what the rationale for this is....

Candia is unique and the dump has been a wonderful part of that. I miss the old dump with the ring of flowers, but the new one has its own charms, including the people who work there. Let them be.

Why would you force them to do this? If it makes for a better work environment, it makes for happier employees. And it does not take away from productivity or efficiency of the center.
These guys are great and should be praised and rewarded, not the opposite. Please let them leave the art up.
I love Candia. It is everything I want in a town, but stuff like this (while small), detract from its character.

Come on guys. Over 20 years in this town and this type of petty stuff still lingers? We vote you into these positions to deal with real issues in the town. This, however, seems more a power trip than serving the community in any positive manner. In all the years I've been here I've been impressed and appreciate how Chuck and Joe take pride in the Center, making it more than it is. This and the previous Center have always been one of our de facto community meeting places (along with Fletch, Stubby, and old Fred's place). At the Center we can be ourselves, talk with neighbors, friends, Selectmen active and potential alike. Chuck has made it a more personable space by softening the industrial nature of the complex. This artwork exhibits the lighter side of what life should be, and highlights the personal nature of what a community can be. Candia and it's residents are not a sterile group of individuals, but a community attune to the concerns of our neighbors and their children. We work hard to make this a friendly and inclusive community. I don't understand your motives behind this. Please consider leaving things be unless they are causing true angst amongst the townsfolk or will create positive change amongst us as a community. Thank you for all you do and the time you volunteer to the community as Selectman. It is appreciated. This, however, is not. Wishing you the best, Al

I really enjoy all the dump art! And the flowers! I think the toilets should come back! Life can be stressful, our recycling center shouldn't be!

I think both the art work and the flowers are pleasing to the eye at the recycling center. As far as the flowers go wish I could grow such great flowers. I personally think they lift everybody's spirits and make you stop and notice nice things even on your busiest day.

I've never had a problem with the artwork---or all the flowers and other efforts to humanize our recycling center either!

Come on Selectpeople, Really? This art hurts no one, and is a welcome addition to the recycling center. If it is displayed, there is a good chance it will be taken by another patron. Thus recycled. Come on people, life is too short for this stupidness.
