The Dublin Flea is an important, rich and vibrant community hub. It would be a travesty to end it for another soulless development in the heart of Dublin. Learn from the decline of Smithfield Square and reject this application.

I have been going to markets for the last 10 years. The area is a major cultural hub that has prospered and grown in this time. To see it reduced to a tiny fraction of what the area is would be a travesty

The Flea and other markets in the Square have been a wonderful resource and community glue. They are what makes a city appealing to locals and visitors alike, not identikit international coffee chains. We need to ensure their place is cemented into some long-term and innovative thinking about the redevelopment of the area.
