As a local resident, and a frequent visitor to the the Dublin Flea, the Green Door and the Food Co-op I would say that these communities are everything to the area. And that new buildings will mean nothing without these small creative markets and businesses tying the neighbourhood together.

The place gets many visitors and is now a know attraction for people attending European flea markets. The changes made already have changed the atmosphere of what it used to be like. Ridiculous!

The market is a huge addition to the neighborhood and it would be a huge loss.

Such a unique experience for locals and tourists. Places like this need to be preserved - let's keep some of our own character before the big corporations move in and kill off the charm that is in the area. Not forgetting this is a large residential area too not just an extension to the city.

I love the Dublin Flea. It has become one of the best things about Dublin. Its got a lovely friendly vibe with great people behind the scenes making it work. The music is good too. Best market in Dublin and Ireland ever.
