Find a way to add the pickle ball courts WITHOUT reducing the tennis courts, or don’t add them at all.

I realize that pickleball is the new big thing but there are a lot of people that still play tennis

A reduction in the 5 existing tennis courts would be a major disservice to Doylestown Township residents and many other Bucks County residents. The sport of tennis has grown tremendously in the past 3 years. Reducing the number of tennis courts in Doylestown Township is not justified, and not what the community wants. Please build 5 new courts to replace the existing 5 courts as part of the Recreation Center project!

Appreciate the need for pickleball players to have places to play. However, punishing tennis players is not the solution. These aren’t wasted spaces that need repurposing. These are valued, heavily trafficked courts.

18902 - These courts are always in use and are a great service to both kids and adults in the community. It is a place for people to enjoy being active and playing tennis together or to take affordable, quality lessons through BCTA. Without these courts, tennis will not be an accessible sport for many people in this community who cannot afford or have the skill level to play at private clubs.

Pickle ball should be an add on, not replacement of, the great sport of tennis!!!
