THIS PETITION ADDRESSES THE INHUMANE SLAUGHTER OF 26,000 DOLPHINS EVERY YEAR. LIVING IN A CIVILIZED WORLD IN THE 21ST CENTURY, I FIND IT INEXCUSABLE THAT THE JAPANESE GOVERNMENT IS ALLOWING THIS TO GO ON. THEY ARE TURNING A BLIND EYE TO THIS HORRIFIC ACT OF ANNIHILATION SO THEY CAN MAKE A PROFIT OFF OF AN INTELLIGENT DEFENCELESS CREATURE.
IF THEY CONTINUE TO SLAUGHTER AT THIS RATE THE DOLPHINS WILL SOON BECOME EXTINCT, THE AFFECT OF THIS EXTINCTION ON THE FOOD CHAIN WILL BE DETRIMENTAL. ONCE YOU REMOVE ONE OF THE SPECIES FROM THE CHAIN, IT WILL ALTER THE ECOSYSTEM, WHICH IN TURN WILL COMPROMISE THE HUMAN RACE.

Bastards all of them!! You are murdering living beings. According Japan's finest, they seem to think that this hunt is humane!!!

Watched The Cove last night and I am absolutely sick to my stomach. How can this still be legal?? Absolute monsters.
STOP THE KILLING NOW!!!! JAPAN NEEDS TO WAKE UP AND JOIN THE REST OF THE WORLD IN THE 21ST CENTURY.
Completely barbaric. There is no excuse for slaughtering these beautiful animals for profit. End it immediately.

im year 9 and from australia and currently in english we have to write about a topic that we are passionate so i chose the taiji dolphin slaughter i have jnow about it for a while but only just recently found out all the information and i want to do everything in my power to stop this
