Save the direct train service from Beckenham Junction/Kent House/Penge East/Sydenham Hill/West Dulwich to Blackfriars

Extremely disappointed that there is no longer a direct train to CIty Thames link - now the train service is looking to remove the only line to Blackfriars. This is Not acceptable. If people can’t get to work we can’t pay taxes which pays for public infrastructure!

I don’t live in Beckenham anymore, but I was born there and went to Beckenham Convent School which is no longer there. My marriage in Beckenham, well he church is still there and my children from my marriage are still around as are my nieces and nephews, some are still able to live there… just. Please don’t drive the last of my connection in relatives to have to flee from there or the many others who depend on this service to afford to keep their livelihoods afloat.

Was looking to move to Beckenham but this decision will affect my commute and therefore possibly my decision to move here now

I work as a detective for the Met Police and this train is so very useful when I have to attend at the Old Bailey. Also if we have to change at Herne Hill it’s going to get really crowded.

Please keep the Beckenham Junction to Blackfriars train running. Really useful for travelling to work in that part of London.
