Nuclear is a clean and safe energy source that should play a major role in the energy transition. United Nations Economic Commission for Europe estimates for life cycle carbon emissions places nuclear power up to 20 times cleaner than solar and up to 4 times cleaner than wind. Older IPCC estimates place nuclear among the cleanest energy sources too...

As a contractor to PGE at Diablo Canyon for many years, I experienced first-hand the majesty and preciousness of this unique area. It does not need to have houses, industries, or any other "use" than to remain in its own right, undisturbed. Let's make this a textbook case protecting this unique area's Rights of Nature.

I know people who have moved to SLO because of Montana de Oro. We must preserve the beautiful land on over the hill, outdoor activities are the main magnet of tourism to this area..

The Diablo Canyon Lands are for people, not profit.
I have major concerns for the stranded radioactive waste that will be left behind. We need safer nuclear waste policies now.

This would be a great asset for our community. Montana de Oro and the Johnson Ranch get heavy use. It looks like the Pismo Preserve will also get heavy use. It will help attract tourists to our area.

Conservation and public access to the 12,000 acres of Diablo Canyon Lands is a reasonable means to preserve this natural environment for future generations.
