The Delaware is one of the most incredible fisheries in the country producing a sustainable wild trout population that can flourish with the right water flow and temps, but can be severely damaged or destroyed without necessary water flows. Guides have come from as far as Alaska to work at The Delaware stating it is the best fishery he has ever seen in the entire country! This fishery is important to the local economy bringing guides to live, and fishermen and their families to the area to spend money! Please do the right thing for this trout population, for the people who depend on the river for a living, and the local businesses who depend on a healthy vibrant river and trout population to bring them business.
Please release water.

Something needs to give here. This is going to kill fish AND the local economy. We travel 2 hours to fish here every weekend and to see the system like this is disgusting

I live on 3 river street in deposit. I talk to many fishermen and the stretch of river that is my front lawn has never been the same since the valve was fixed at the dam among other things. Please keep a steady release that would benefit boaters and the fishermen that visit here. I leave my property open to anyone and meet a lot of good folks that come up this way to enjoy the waters. I want to keep meeting new people, and hopefully get the visitors back here again that I got to know over the years. I am not sure why we cannot come up with a solution that would make everyone happy. I am no expert, but it does not seem a difficult task.

This issue goes far beyond trout fishing and economic activity...an entire ecosystem is put at risk. This risk CAN be addressed without endangering NYC's water supply. Please act now!

The dam controls on the upper Delaware system are patently absurd. The reservoir is near capacity, but still the river starves for the cold water that sustains it.
