Why does Newcastle city council always have to ruin something that is good? This is a really popular place that has attracted many people and as such won’t thrive not nearly as much without the deck. Parking has always been an issue because you have made it that way through parking meters and parking time zones, don’t shift the burden onto something like a poor, defenceless deck.

The deck should not be taken away, as it is a positive aspect of the store it has many good values and uses it should not be removed the positives of the deck definitely outweighs the negatives!

The council is making moves to remove public parking wherever they can in the CBD without a thought in the world, and they’re worried about a small deck in the corner of what use to be a disgusting carpark before this business moved in.
