Final supporters
Many parents have told me they were disappointed upon hearing that the showcase was cancelled. These parents feel like they are making a lot of sacrifices (financial, time, etc.) for their kids to participate on these competition dance teams. Their concerns are centered around the fact that they came into the dance season knowing that competing in dance is a huge commitment, and they were prepared to do whatever they had to do to help prepare their child for competition. The point of competition team is to compete, the point of competing is to do the best you absolutely can. In order to do that, you need every opportunity to showcase and practice routines. Also, many families do not have time to come to competition and sit around for hours waiting to see a couple of these routines. This showcase provides a great opportunity to see every competition number, including solos, in a short amount of time! We owe it to our kids to help prepare them as much as possible.
If you would like to see the showcase actually be put on, knowing that there is a time and possible financial commitment, then please sign this petition ASAP. The showcase would still be held on Saturday February 3, if we are successful with this. Thank you.

The silence from the studio administration is heavy but I am still pushing for a response behind the scenes. It is exhausting to keep explaining why our children need this stage time but I see no other path forward.

Seeing this much momentum confirms that I am not the only one exhausted by how dismissive the studio has been toward our families. It is a long haul to get the showcase reinstated but the resolve I see here gives me the energy to keep pushing for our kids.

This is a great way to give the kids every advantage to excel in competition. I would love the opportunity to see all of the kids show how hard they have been working!
Mariah needs this showcase as this is her first time doing a solo and she would benefit from performing infront of a crowd. Thank you.

Performing or practicing on a stage prior to competition is very beneficial to this team. It will also ease some of the anxieties of the first time soloists and boost their confidence!!!
