Save the Curtain Theatre

We set aside time every summer and drive from the South Bay to attend Curtain Theatre's productions. While in Mill Valley, we shop and get dinner at one of the many lovely restaurants there. It would be a loss to the Mill Valley community and the Bay Area at large if a few selfish people were allowed to shut down Curtain Theatre's Shakespeare in the Park.

We need more outdoor cultural events in Marin not less.

I second what Michele Samuels said! However, I would add that if you don't have the support you need in MV, we hope you'll come to San Anselmo and Fairfax!

Communities need the arts. Please keep the theater. Maybe noise can be negotiated with the neighbors, but that should not stop this theater from operating.

Mill Valley needs cultural events. And it’s smart to retain those that have a history of success.

Outdoor venues are a particularly important part of our local scene. As long as there are no problems (drugs, homelessness, etc.) the people living near the space should know that this is what they were getting when they moved there. SAVE THE THEATER!

Our family enjoys these performances every year. We consider the amphitheater and all of Old Mill Park a treasure in the town we live.

19 years and counting, this gem should continue to add to the fabric of our community. The Arts are essential to creating well balanced humans. We need more balance in this world.

Anyone who has moved to that part of mill valley should know that this area has been used for community entertainment for years. If they didn’t want to live near that they should have moved elsewhere.
