The Train Station is the perfect setting for a much needed art gallery in Huntsville. It sat unwanted and uncared for for years. Now it's a welled use and a much loved space. Please keep the station as a Culture Centre. Please don't sell it.

I support the Huntsville Train Station as the Culture Station for Huntsville and promote the historical preservation and the public education and all the volunteer work that has gone into it and ask that it not be sold.

This space is extremely beneficial to the artists of our community. We live in a beautiful town with a lot of artistic people and we should be encouraging that part of our community, not inhibiting it. Being an artist is a difficult and time consuming job but unfortunately artists often don't make a lot of money, so I think it's wonderful that our town is providing a place for our talented artists who bring attention and creativity to our town to showcase their work and it would be such a shame for that to be taken away.

I helped work on this project when my Father Bob Spencer was President of the Huntsville Train Society and restoring the building. The amount of work that went into this project was huge. It would a great loss for Huntsville if it gets sold. Brisbane Australia

The Culture Station is an unique venue. As part of the gallery committee we have booked shows into the Signal North Gallery into 2016. That illustrates interest and promise. Don't let this vision fade to save minimal costs to the town. This is an opportunity that will only benefit the community as a whole.

The Culture Station looks like a promising venue for both the new artistic youth and the artists already established in this community. I think more supportive action should take place to ensure the resilience of the art scene that grants Huntsville its unique presence along with it's cultured history.

We need to take a few lessons from the thriving artistic community in a Haliburton. We have amazing artists in our community but limited ways of showcasing them. We are nothing without culture. Amazing that the area that fostered the art of the Group of Seven can't foster artists today.

Without an open community run gallery it will be exceptionally hard for any aspiring artists coming out of high school to specialize their education toward that field through co-op opportunities.

Save the Culture Station and the Signal North Gallery. Huntsville needs more than Sports to make the community well rounded.

One of the reasons I moved to Huntsville is because I am an artist and am inspired by the gorgeous landscape. Seems I am not the only one! When I moved 9 years ago I was looking for artistic activities for my kids and myself. I was surprised there was not a space for artists to meet or for lessons to foster creativity. My daughter was upset that she didn't have an art class in grade 7. I did however meet a great bunch of artist "The Huntsville Art Crowd"(now the Huntsville Art Society)who had been trying to get such a space for a long time. Up until last year there has been no support from the Town of Huntsville for Visual Arts, everything had to be volunteer run. We finally found a shared space through the help of The Chamber of Commerce so that all the energy from the volunteers could go towards making the Gallery and Cultural Hub work. After only one year of hard work and seeing some great things happening at Signal North Gallery we now have to fight once again to keep the space? Most towns have a Cultural Centre for visual arts and we are volunteering to make this happen in Huntsville. These are the things tourists and new comers to town look for. The Town of Huntsville is quick to call us an artistic community but if it does not finance The Visual Arts the artistic community will be tired of fighting and die out. We have some amazing artist who have a lot to offer.

It's important for the children in the community to have access to arts and culture. Not only are they able to experience the work of others, the station is a place where we can show the community the incredible talent of the local students
