Bad enough the Northlander service has been discontinued. This needs to be preserved. We visit this station every year with our granddaughter and we live in Huntsville!

The Culture Station is an important feature of Huntsville's history. It took several years and financial investment to develop our strength in Sports Tourism. We need the Station as an important building block as we develop an equal interest in our Cultural Tourism potential.

This cultural station is a unique historical building, and must not be sold under any circumstances!

This old railway station is a valuable asset to the town's historical structures and provides excellent accommodation for the cultural groups using the facility. It must not be sold!

Many towns in the Muskoka's support the arts and nurture it's sustainability and we should not be left out of the fray. Please do not let this important part of our integral circle of what makes Huntsville unique and helps to support the culture here disappear. You would be making a huge mistake by doing so

Not only is this cultural hub an important venue for the expression of Huntsville's culture, the building itself is worthy of celebration and as such, should remain an active venue in the town. Judy Lacey

We need to keep this building publicly owned for the benefit of all. Yes, the Town fund's many things and it's appreciated - this one needs to stay on the list. Consider an authorized committee of all tenants to increase revenue reducing the Towns financial burden. Idea - Promote Passenger Rail Tourism to the area with Special Event Trains with live entertainment on-board provided by the tenants and interested parties.

Without history and culture, towns become faceless and hollow. A box store soon to close.

I would take the Culture Station much further. Why not create a School of the Northern Arts by architecturally expanding the facility into a teaching mode like Haliburton?? I believe we could raise enough private, public and governmental support for a new school in Huntsville using the currently empty "Waterloo facility" as a student dorm. Anyone interested in pursuing this concept??

Selling the Culture Station is like burning your furniture and partition walls to keep your house warm a little longer!

This historical site has played a major role in developing musicians in Huntsville, and providing a home for the arts. It needs to stay! However, the rent issue needs to be resolved. One side is paying an outrageous fee and the other side nothing. One is developing music in young children and they and their families, are constantly fundraising just to pay the rent.

The train station is a beautiful setting for our artists to display and educate. It is a valuable contribution to our town and it's value goes far beyond dollars. Please help us keep this unique setting going.
