White sheets is associated with the KKK so are all the white sheets in the USA to be dyed? The Confederate flag is not a symbol of hate anymore. I've lived in the south most of my life and wasn't tought to hate anyone. I've seen that flag my whole 38 years. It wasn't a symbol of hate. Does the star of David symbolize hate because of the holocaust? The Jewish people had to wear it on them so the Nazis could identify them?

As a New Yorker I feel it's wrong to censor history. I strongly believe that our southern brothers should have the right to fly The Confederate flag. In New York I see just about every nationality fly their flag and some are here illegal , yet our own American southern brothers can't display their flag that is American. It is just a shame and a disrespect to our nations history. Good luck my southern brothers and save Ole Dixie God bless the South

This flag honors our ancestors who fought and died for states' rights, individual liberty, and against tyranny. This is our history and heritage. We can't let them take that away.

The Confederate Flag is virtually important to the south and important to Southern heritage , it part of the southern tradition and we need to save the confederate flag.
