This is a great pub with really good atmostphere - would be a shame to lose it from the area.

Yet another local pub becoming a boring chain. Communities need proper local independent pubs, they are a dying breed.

KEEP THE COCK & DRAGON!!! I have been visiting this pub for the past 20 years, sometimes for just a drink and sometimes for food and drink.....it's the best in Cockfosters! I can go anywhere for a steak, but NO WAY can I get the a Thai meal like this served anywhere in Barnet. I WILL NOT be visiting Miller & Carter for a steak, that to be honest, their chefs cannot cook to customer requests I. The

Been going to the Cock n Dragon Thai restaurant for several years. We always have a boyz nite out every Christmas. I am shocked at the idea of turning this succesful business into another steak pub. Boring!!! The thai food in the Cock n Dragon is 2nd to none and will be sorely missed

The Cock & Dragon - a great pub with one of the best Thai restaurants locally and in London. Have been going there for many years and the quality of the cuisine has never failed but to impress and satisfy. We regularly hold an annual 'gentlemans' evening there and have been doing so for many years and without fail have enjoyed the good ale and excellent food. Who needs another steakhouse, they are two-a-penny and offer nothing new.

I recall my father telling me that when he was a boy living at Finsbury Park back in the 30's/40's, he and his parents would visit this pub and he would be given a glass of lemonade and an arrowroot biscuit. I now travel a shorter distance (from Enfield Chase) on a fairly regular basis to eat the lovely Thai food. As this is now the only pub in Cockfosters, and with its history dating back to 1798 why does it need to change? What of the old adage 'If it ain't broke don't fix it'. I certainly have no intention to travel to a restaurant in Cockfosters to eat a steak. Good luck with the fight to save the Cock & Dragon.
