please don't remove this tree! It holds many memories for myself, my husband, & our 3 older children! Unfortunately, our 12-year-old has no memories of this beautiful Christmas tree & visiting Santa because she was very young when they stopped using it! This tree NEEDS to be saved; it is a wonderful landmark for Wilmington! Downtown 3rd Street is beginning to remove/add so many landmarks that it's not even looking like the same quaint town it was 10 years ago!!!
