Keep the funding for the Children's Center! These programs are vital to the well-being of our children.

Child care is hideously undervalued in this country, this is a problem that needs a solution and you're considering taking a step toward making it worse.

A just society takes care of its children!!!

Losing theses after-school programs at will really hurt a lot of kids and families.

It is a necessity for parents of especially kindergartners, who only go to school for 3 hours a day - to have after school care. If the district and state truly prioritize early childhood education and the stability of a child's first years in school these programs ought to be indispensable. After school care should not be "low hanging fruit" on this districts path to solvency. If they are looking for cuts they should start at the TOP.

The Theodore Judah Childrens Center has been a blessing for our family for the past four years. In particular, I find it reassuring that my two children do not need to take a bus to a different location (an especially frightening proposition for my kindergartener). I’d like to engage in a discussion with the district about what additional resources you need from parents so that the district does not need to subsidize this program. Thank you.

Our daughter has been on the waiting list for almost a year. This tells me the need for these programs are already greater than the current availability. Cutting an already limited resource parents rely on, will only increase the stress working families endure while trying to ensure their children are safe during the work week.

The TJCC has been an amazing resource for our family for the last six years, and we hope it will continue to be available as an option for families who need it.

It’s crucial to make cuts as far away from students as possible so as not to impact their learning. They should not pay the price for the district’s folly.

This is such an important service for most families and the staff at Theodore Judah is particularly good and helpful for the children.

We need the Children's Center, please find the way to help us keep it.

I echo Stephany's comments wholeheartedly! Without this program I don't know how I could to continue to work full time as there are virtually no other available alternatives. Please consider our concerns!

These centers provide safe, efficient, productive places for the children of working families to stay. They utilize existing school facilities at a minimal cost to the district and at a benefit to the community

TJ Childern's Center has been a crucial resource for us as a family with two working parents. We've been nothing but impressed with their care of, interest in, and love of our daughter.

The Children's Center is more than childcare-- my son learns and develops here. They're a critical resource for those of us who can't afford other childcare options.

The Theodore Judah Children's Center is a vital program for working parents like myself. The care and education the staff provides to my two daughters has been outstanding. I am grateful knowing that there is a safe, nurturing, well-run program on campus that my children can attend every day before and after school. The loss of this program would be detrimental to not just me, but all of the families that rely so heavily on the Children’s Center.
