The problems in Education:

1. DeVos:

GOP Sens. Susan Collins (Maine) and Lisa Murkowski in back-to-back speeches on the Senate floor announced Wednesday that they would oppose Betsy DeVos's nomination to be Education secretary.

They are the first two Republicans to break with Trump on any of his Cabinet picks, and the votes could make it difficult for DeVos to win confirmation.

If all of the Senate's Democrats vote against DeVos, she would have 50 votes if the remaining Republicans backed her — with Vice President Mike Pence potentially breaking the tie. No Democrats have backed DeVos.

Trump signaled his administration is primed to push school choice with his selection of Betsy DeVos as his nominee for secretary of education. DeVos has been campaigning for charter schools and school vouchers for many years, and figures to bring that same focus to the Department of Education if confirmed.

2. The End of the Campus Title IX Crusade?

While campaigning, Trump promised to repeal all of Obama’s executive orders early in his administration. If he keeps this promise, one place where it will have a big effect is on American college campuses, where the Obama administration has used its executive authority to pressure schools to crack down on sexual assault, which is allegedly an epidemic on campus

3. The End of Common Core?

While on the campaign trail, Trump repeatedly promised to “get rid of” Common Core, the set of math and reading standards used by more than 40 states for the past five years. Despite heavy grassroots opposition, the standards have proven resilient, with many efforts at repeal turning into far more restrained measures that simply rebrand or lightly tweak the standards.

Throwing Out Michelle’s Lunch Program

Outgoing First Lady Michelle Obama’s signature issue, school nutrition, could be on the chopping block in the coming year. The Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010 bolstered nutrition requirements for school lunches across the country, and required schools to serve more fruits, vegetables, and whole grains to students.

If you are against these changes, please sign this petition. This petition will be used to promote safe, healthy, equity opportunities for early childhood education and any postsecondary education platform. By signing this petition, we the people, will be taking control of how education is handled. Shutting down harmful ECE centers sounds like the best idea in combating these problems. We want the most from our educational experiences.

The Programs/ideas we want to promote with this petition:

1. Education Decreases Poverty

About 61 million children are not enrolled in primary school. Of these kids, 40 million live in poverty. It is hardest for those living below the poverty line to even imagine sending their kids to school because in many countries, obtaining an education is not free. If there must be a choice between eating a meal and educating a child, most families would choose eating a meal. Boys are often kept out of school so they can work and bring in money for the family, while girls are kept out to farm, cook and do other things in the home that are needed to keep the family functioning.

Solutions: By donating to the paypal link below, you are supporting reducing the amount poverty in America (United States) there are thousands of nonprofit and child development agencies that are beginning a project on funding opportunities for children/young adults to get they're education regardless of background. *more details to come*

2. Education Promotes Health/mental development

People who have an education are significantly healthier than those who are not. Maternal health benefits hugely from education. A child who is born to an educated mother is 50 percent more likely to survive past the age of five. In the same way, every additional year of education a mother has lowers the child mortality rate by two percent. Educated mothers are twice as likely to immunize their children, and are more likely to seek prenatal care and assisted childbirth.

Solutions: but wouldn't it be easier to just have this information originally provided? By donating to the PayPal link you are supporting having health & mental development education which is vital to quality education and care practices. If more qualified professionals knew about the opportunity to train or educate younger generation then I bet they would in a heartbeat.

3. Education Provides Economic Growth

In order for a country to see steady economic growth, education must be a priority. For every year of education, a person’s average earnings increase by 10 percent. This means that the GDP could increase by one percent every year if all citizens receive a quality education. With regard to women, if girls receive the same education as boys, developing countries could gain up to $90 billion each year. No country in history has seen a steady economic increase without at least 40 percent literacy rate. Education also increases a person’s chance at obtaining a steady job. By earning an income, people contribute to the country’s economy as a whole.

4. More about narcissism parents and the dangers:

Most codependent parents sincerely do not wish any harm to befall their children. In fact, they go to extraordinary measures to stop, mitigate or buffer the narcissist’s harm or abuse of the children. Despite their best intentions, they are unable to stop the resulting disregard and/or mistreatment that everyone in the family is forced to endure, except, of course, for the offending narcissist. The codependent’s inability or unwillingness to shield the children co-creates a toxic family environment in which the children are harmed and their future psychological health is compromised.
