Inoculation not the destruction of British wildlife !
Please pledge your committal to the badger inoculation programme and ensure that plans that lead to the culling of badgers do not become adopted by Wales.
Thank you for leading the way in humane treatments of Bovine Tuberculosis and ensuring badgers have a safe place to live.

The slaughter of badgers (or 'the cull', as described by the pro-camp) has no scientific basis. The recent lame attempt at such a 'cull' shows the failure of such a programme. Control the disease by vaccination - a proven technique.

Tighter animal husbandry and vaccination are the obvious common sense actions. More substantial fencing to prevent badgers from coming in contact with cattle in the short term. It is not only badgers that can carry the disease, do we slaughter everything? I will not be voting for any political party that approves another cull.

I am so pleased to know that Wales have taken the option of vaccination. Please ensure this continues, and do not allow changes to this policy..

I thought the Welsh badgers were safe. Let's get signing this to protect them.

The cull so far has cost £2500 for each badger killed, vaccinating would cost £200 - so why is this government wasting so much money? Why is it getting police to stand all night in fields where there is one badger captured in a trap? Not only is this cruel to the badger when it's freezing conditions, it is wrong to make the police do this who should be fighting crime.

Carry on vaccinatng, the cage trapping and killing is going to be too expensive with policing costs.

The Badger Cull is unscientific and immoral
