I realize there isn't much open land left in Sarasota anymore due to the amount of growth...not all good...and I'm sure a recycling plant is a wonderful idea...but come on people, next to the Celery Fields, use your brains or, has your ego and the all mighty dollar grabbed hold of you to....

The recycle plant needs to be further away from town, NOT at this location

We can not afford to overlook the growing value of the area now called The Celery Fields. It's a wildlife & bird's haven, a birder's paradise, an eco-tourism draw and a place where humans can wander the paths & hill to be with nature & learn its values. Please respect this nature park AND the land that surrounds it. All land that borders this nature park has an impact on its future! The importance of The Celery Fields can not be overlooked or underestimated therefore zoning and land use surrounding it is of major and growing concern!

I LOVE CLEREY FIELDS. I work out there all the time, enjoy beautiful sunsets and do NOT want this taken from me in my beautiful home. It makes our town and is such an awesome spot and you could do such great things with it

I lived right down the road from this for years. Don't let it get destroyed.
Please don't allow this to happen!
