You're seriously considering ruining this beautiful and natural place?

DO NOT allow this waste recycling site anywhere near our protected Audubon nature site of the Celery Fields. This is a crime to do this when we have so few areas left where our birds and wildlife can thrive and families can witness the beauty of our living world. My family and I place great value on our green space and expect our county commissioners to RESPECT the environment in our own city without exception. Listen to the people. THANK YOU, Patrice Kennedy, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother.

The Celery Fields is a much valued green space in Sarasota County. I hike there with my nephew because it offers a tranquil natural vista not available anywhere else.

I do not want a 14 acre industrial recycling plant built next to a bird sanctuary at the Celery Fields.

It is a shame what is happening to the environment in Sarasota. Those concerned about overcrowding and the environment have no chance with the Sarasota County Commission, whose motives are easy to read. Take a look at the article on the Celery Fields on the Sarasota Phoenix website link here http://sarasotaphoenix.net/ Subscribe to keep up on the shenanigans
