Please do all you can to maintain the Celery Fields without the proposed recycling plant. So much wildlife and so many people enjoy it. Please! Thank You

Not only is this a bad idea due to impact on property values and environment, it is a beautiful component to what makes Sarasota so special. What the heck would anyone want to change that by getting rid It. This screams greed by leaders and business owners. Build the plant further out east where it doesn't impact our community's heart and sole.

the celery fields area is one of the few sites where families can enjoy nature in the Sarasota area and children and adults alike can see birds in their natural habitat !

This is a beautiful local treasure spot that needs to be protected at all costs. It's a haven for bird and insect life with wildflowers that attract local butterflies in abundance. Why spoil the little bit of natural beauty we have? Please sign especially if you are a local Sarasota resident

Recycling is important, however, I am positive that this can be placed in a safer location, away from a bird sanctuary.

Nope. That would be a terrible idea. Although the recycling is a great idea, choose a new location. Industrial park perhaps.

The celery fields project is a beautiful example of solving the problem of flooding in one area and creating a bird sanctuary and a elevated hiking area for all to enjoy. I was so proud of Sarasota County for this wonderful example of win/win for everyone. The decision for a ugly recycling plant anywhere near this is area is distructive, disturbing and just wrong. What are you thinking? NO! PLEASE!

There are so few preserves left where we can get close to natural wildlife. Let's keep the celery fields undeveloped.
