The Celery Fields had little habitat value before they were made into one! Now they are a major economic driver in the county. Please... these 14 acres must be a buffer zone for Celery Fields!

I can't believe that this is even being considered! ! Sarasota needs to preserve this area of wildlife. This is not something that will better our community, but destroy it!!

I remember our class at Ringling painting in the celery fields in the 70's and then the county turned it into a beautiful, peaceful park and donated some of the land to Sarasota Audubon. As a member I just designed a brochure for SAS as the number one birding destination in Sarasota. The Sarasota Tourism was so greatful for these brochures because they've had many requests and Siesta Key. DON'T DISTROY THIS TOURIST ATTRACTION!

We moved out East to enjoy the land and nature. Now they are building hundreds of houses and trying to add this plant - it has to stop.

We are driving all the wild animals from their natural habitats. We need to preserve space for them continue to survive or they will die off.

Let's put this facility out in a rural area further away from the city like 10 more miles east. Sarasota does not need ANY more traffic. It's already more than ridiculous to get anywhere. We don't need the noise, the traffic, and the pollution. Linda Murillo
