I'm opposing the proposed plans to build a recycling center off Palmer and Apex in Sarasota. Such a plant would jeopardize the eco-system, traffic patterns, and general well being of life for residents living within the area. Thank you for listening and we are asking that the people who will be directly affected by this plant be prioritized over the selling and profit of land for a facility that will devalue this part of our beautiful city. Thank you.

the government is allowing the developers to destroy this whole area. It is going to be as bad as the East Coast soon. We are thinking of moving away

The celery fields are a beautiful place for families to observe nature, exercise and be outdoors. A noisy, dirty recycling plant along with the increased traffic will take away from the beauty. The county has committed substantial resources for the improvements at the celery fields. Why just let that commitment disappear for GREED.

We must protect this habitat, or we will build ourselves to concrete that wildlife will die out. This area is a local treasure and is enjoyed my so many. Please say no to that plan.

Time to stop the rapid destruction of natural areas! We dont need a house, building, shopping center, strip mall or parking lot on every piece of natural land.
