Please don't allow this to take place. This area is known nationwide as a pristine bird watching area. Many tax dollars were used to create this lovely area. Do not waste our tax payer dollars. This is not the kind of business we need this close to our housing developments. This is the second time he has tried to get this passed. Let him put it on his property out Fruitville rd.

To put this in our beautiful celery fields is so inappropriate for the area! The county has put a lot of money into making the Celery Fields a place for people!e to come and enjoy the wildlife, hike the trails and just be with nature and to even consider putting a business like this there is just wrong!

No recycling facility! People from way outside of Sarasota come to the Celery Fields for birding. Personally we have at least a dozen people in our family from out of state who visit that wonderful bird sanctuary. Save it. No Noise. No pollution. No traffic.

Do not allow a 16-acre, industrial recycling plant to be built next to the bird sanctuary at the Celery Fields. As a nearby resident my family and I are strongly opposed to this proposed usage which does not conform to the nature of the area.

Much too valuable as a public green space to ruin. There is plenty of land out east that could be used. Common sense not business cents should prevail.

The thought that a dump/recycle plant could be located so close to the multi million dollar Celery Fields and so close to the bird sanctuaries makes absolutely no sense. It's not only heart-breaking, it "smells" of corrupt politics. Please don't let this zone change take effect. There are many other locations that could be better suited for this business. Please protect the tax payer's investment into the Celery Fields. Protect this very precious enviroment.

No ! - this is not right on so many levels. Millions of our taxpayer dollars were spent developing that area as a bird sanctuary and observatory, park, nature preserve and water retention ponds.
The area known as the " Hill " is an attraction that grows larger numbers of visitors every month. You don't have to live in the area, you only have to know the area to realize that this is not the location for a concrete recycling plant.

Does it really need to be said? Is this really something we need to think about? Yes Sarasota, let's just keep ripping our the very heart of what makes you a truly unique place to live. I hate this city and it's leadership with all of my heart. Signed to hopefully help protect some of the last bit of originality this boring town had to offer.

Preservation of wildlife should never be compromised for industrial expansion.
