Why do you commissioners always find an empty space, a nature habitat to desecrate with a building? Sure you put in an underwater storage system on top of the celery fields - someone had some forward thinking, people come from all over to enjoy it and now you are going to muck it up. Unbelievable!!!

Are you serious putting a plant on 14 acres next to Celery Fields ? Dumbest thing I've heard. It's bad enough all the farms are disappearing. That is not why we moved to Sarasota!

This will negatively impact our community in so many ways including traffic congestion, property devaluation, and disturbing the habitat of protected wildlife. I respectfully request this project is discontinued indefinitely.

An internationally recognized refuge, a residential area, trucks and concrete crusher creating low frequency noise (not affected by barriers), potential for flood water carrying construction debris, and zoning that is totally inappropriate for the surrounding area -- all these reasons and many more for no rezoning, no exception, and no industrial recycling center on this land!

There is no place like the celery fields in Sarasota. Please do the right thing for the environment. There are already too many habitats being destroyed in our beautiful country.

We are adamently opposed to the recycling center. Consider the noise, dust, congestion and distruction to the neighbors and mostly the bird and wildlife population which would surely leave.
