We have lost enough land. I am a lifetime resident and this is ENOUGH! Stop making money the most important thing. Save our green spaces and wetlands so future generations have it. Enough building! Enough development! DO NOT allow this! I vote, beware, and I am vocal and loud.

Our family loves this space. It is a refuge for many species of birds and animals and great for family outings to exercise. Nobody wants more unfavorable housing to profit greedy fat cats!!!

It is unwise and premature to declare any of the celery fields property "surplus" or that there is no possible future public use of this property. As Sarasota County grows, public service needs will emerge and public officials should preserve all options for meeting those needs.
