The Cask and Sigma beneath are and have been for many years, a huge part of Scarborough's music scene as well as a great community pub with a welcoming atmosphere. It would be a big loss to the musicians, local and visiting, the varied audiences and other patrons of the pub.

It’s essential that we keep the community thriving here in Scarborough.
And the Cask is a central hub of community spirt to the locals and also tourists in this area & has been for many years
We have lost too many places on the south side of Scarborough. To loose the Cask would have detrimental effects to many local groups.
