I am a alcholic but have not had a drink for 10 years now. The Cask is the only place i know which sells Heineken !!0!! on draught. It has a friendly atmoshere and the is no stigma attached to me or others who are in the same position i am in.

I’d like to save this pub, it’s local to me and we have lost so many already

Although an infrequent visitor these days it would be a shame to see yet another vital social centre disappear from Scarborough. Places like these are essential to the local area and need to be kept open unless it is to become a cultural wasteland that Scarborough seems to becoming!

This pub engages diversity in music and embraces a community and community interest! This a rare quality in present days! Some pubs are selling cheap drinks and attracting the dregs of society in order to make a profit but this venue stays true to benefit of the community! X

A valuable asset to the community which with the right investment in the infrastructure could be a wonderful bed and breakfast pub in Scarborough which is growing in tourism every year!!

A great asset to the whole community both local and visitors alike which gives more than it's value as just bricks and mortar
