Please don't strip what makes Tallahassee, Tallahassee. Leave our Live Oaks alone.

We simply cannot allow these fly-by-night developers to ride roughshod over our city, its historicity, its citizenry. Enough brick and asphalt. Too many empty, forlorn buildings lying around already. Tallahassee is NOT another gem to be exploited and ruined.

Private developers have no right or reason to destroy our prized oaks. Another under the table deal with Scott Maddox. Keep your hands off our trees! This "development isn't needed or wanted!

I’d rather the city not knock down more trees for more ugly private businesses. This is a park, please do not make it another Collegetown.

We don't need one more thing in this world. What we do need is more trees; more green space; more preservation of these ancient, sacred, life-giving organisms. Please do not sacrifice these magnificent oaks!

Please do not let this happen. Tallahassee always runs behind when it comes to saving any shred of its historic past. Our downtown is sadly lacking its historic homes. Most mowed down in the name of progress. Other cities of the age have block after block of historic homes & gardens. Tallahasse is renowned for its historic tree canopy which is in jeopardy all over Tallahassee.

Please find a way to save these. Tallahassee’s essence is slowly eroding.

Chopping up Tallahassee for the benefit builders is criminal. These trees are more than obstacles to development -- and if that is the only, extremely shallow perception Tallahassee's "leadership" has of them, then the City is lead by incompetent boneheads. What else will you allow to be destroyed for money? Do not accept development $ as the prime mover of all things in Tallahassee. Protect our environment rather than ravage it.

Dear Developer, You have picked the wrong town to level. Your greased minions in office will be in jail or out on the street before the citizens of Tallahassee let you do this. Please stop.

Just last week a friend came to visit. Turns ot, he's looking for a town to call home. He was charmed by Tallahassee and her TREES. They are a part of the character and draw of Tallahassee. Please develoo already flattened land and leave old growth tress alone.
