Tallahassee is exceptional in for its tree density. It's an essential component in the mix of what draws people to live and work here, a factor that legislators should be including in there list of limited resources for ensuring a vital downtown atmosphere.

Trees surrounded the downtown area of Tallahassee is one of the reason it’s remained so beautiful!

This is so important. Please keep the trees and be creative with progress. We don’t want to destroy the best parts of Tallahassee for development. Let’s do this right.

It takes hundreds of years for these oaks to grow, please do not let short sighted development companies take these trees down.

These trees belong in Tallahassee, not Cascades development. Move your building location away from the treees that define the character of our city.

It just won’t be the beautiful Tallahassee we all know and love without these gorgeous trees!

These trees are part of what makes Tallahassee. Removing them from this site will permanently damage the image of the city. We cannot claim to embrace our heritage and history and then tear it all down for development. There is absolutely no reason these trees need to be removed except for the convenience of a developer who is absolutely not concerned how their designs disregard the character of downtown and Cascades.

I hate the newer tree ordinance all over Tallahassee. How horrible Magnolia looks now between Tennessee and Apalachee pkwy. All over town, cut big trees put up tiny miniature trees. Let us save these oaks.

Why must it be necessary to always clear-cut? Why must there always be MORE development? Why can't there ever just be satisfaction in leaving the oaks be? Be creative and use the majestic beauty, shade on hot summer days, respect for all that they have weathered by creating some other type of synergistic design that allows them to stay.

It would be a great shame on our city to allow the tragic loss of this magnitude of our elders, our natural beauty Tallahassee is known for, these great oaks.

The view of this area from the air shows this grove to be the only block in the Cascades area there that was not already denuded of mature trees. Please leave them and take care of them.
