I love this station....don't change it!! The 50's and 60's had the BEST music of all time. I didn't even listen to the radio until my husband told me about this station.

No where else on radio can we hear what You are playing. I've stopped listening to radio a while back until I was fortunate enough to run across " The Big Cat" . Haven't listened to a CD or MP3 in months. You all mix it up just right.

This station is my new obsession. My family has a vintage Telefunken and we LOVE listening to the music that was meant to be played on it as we dance around the living room. Programming that is sorely lacking in this area. Please don't change it.

As a former owner of three radio stations in NW VT, I think it would be a mistake to change your current format. While this format is never going to have as wide an appeal as an A/C for instance, it will attract a very loyal listenership since there is nothing else like it in the DMA. What it needs is a dedicated sales staff who can aggressively sell advertising and promote the station. Perhaps fostering relationships with local venues like Vermont Swings or partnering with local bands who play the same genre like the Starline Rhythm Boys would increase listenership and interest in the station in its present form. Musically, the 1970's was a transition between the dynamic 60's and both Disco and Rock of the 80's. It is generally known as one of the worst musical eras until Disco took over, but Disco was relatively short lived, and quickly disappeared. Given a choice between 50's/60's and 70's, I'd take the former all day long. Good luck with whatever decision you make.

This station is like no other and it is great. I was just told of it a couple of days ago and I am telling people. Please don't change to the 70s. That is where I draw the line.

Unfortunately we seem to be losing more and stations which play 50 and 60 music. Hopefully WCAT won't be one.

Nothing special about the music from the seventies. Would rather have the format changed to 1930's and 1940's big band music than that. Keep the fifties and sixties format please.
