Hello my name is Maria. And I am here to talk about a certin website. Amongst the many MANY websites online, there is one called Padlet.

Maybe you've heard of it, maybe you haven't. Padlet is a communicating website where teachers can share online (in tough times like these) things with their students and have their students interact while it being a private space where no one can get in unless they have the link. Also, young kids who do not have a phone yet can talk on it and communicate while, again, it all being private.
Sounds great, right?

there's only one problem.

Padlet is going to delete an amazing format, called "BackChannel" which is a chat-like format on June 30th, 2021. This is a mistake.

Why do I care? Glad I asked. I use this format to chat with my friends who I can not communicate online with any other way. The other formats I have tried, yet are glitchy and confusing. We have tried other websites, as well. Those haven't been secure, or the controls are confusing. Help me save this wonderful form to communicate with others, or, even if I haven't convinced you, at least try out padlet. It is a wonderful website like I said, and I recommend it. However, I hope they will keep this format because it is something I use all the time and I don't know what else to use. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
