My grandma used to work there as a young girl. Lived in whilst working. Need to keep this pub open. Too much history to close.

The Black Bull is an old traditional pub very welcoming and friendly that anyone who visits will visit again and again because of the atmosphere which is being lost with the closure of pubs like the Black Bull all over the country. The more you close the local traditional pub the more you loss local communities spirit as people will entertain them selves and care about the person next door or up the road which means losing the togetherness of looking out for each other which is very important these days as more and more people are being forgotten about but if the local traditional pub was kept open the togetherness of a community would benefit in talking, celebrating, grieving etc together and help each other instead of someone falling by the way side by lack of community spirit anymore therefore we need to keep the Black Bull pub open PLEASE

The Black Bull is a pub with a great atmosphere and friendly people. The Black Bull has been part of the Barnsley community for a long time and as such will be sorely missed by the locals who have over the years visited it to celebrate a birthday or family event or just have a good night out, but it will be missed especially by those who have benefited from the charity raising events held at the pub.

the best pub in Barnsley... all the locals made me feel very welcome when I visited..please keep this lovley traditional pub open.. or I wont come back to Barnsley :)
