The cover was designed to capture the demented nature of the Joker and the dire situation Batgirl found herself in. I have found that those who are offended are the types to scour society in search of any issue to complain about since that’s what draws in the attention. They have taken this completely out of context.

This is stupid how in this day and age people must also look at the minorities view even when it doesn't make sense

Not offensive. If it is, you need to take a joke.

C'mon, people you're the reason Trump is doing so well. A lot of people are liberals but many of us are tired of the hyper-sensitive PC dogma. You are driving sensible peopke away.

It would be sexist to totally exclude her from the same situations a multitude of characters have previously been in.

All the image shows is the Joker holding a gun to Batgirl. Lots of characters, both male and female, have guns pointed at them in comics. The pussies complaining about it need to get over themselves.

The Joker is evil, anything he says or does is almost immediately put into question, it's not supported, it's not promoting it, it's condemning it. Get off your high horse thinking that the bad guy being evil to THE MAIN CHARACTER OF THE COMIC is in any way "detrimental to our society". If the genders were switched, there would be none of this idiotic noise about it. Talk about "equal rights".

People who hate on this cover/the killing joke clearly don't know the Joker as a character.

the joker is a violent psychopath who has been in many situations similar to this with male characters, so if anything, pulling this cover is would be sexist due to the fact that people only get offended when a female character is put in this situation rather than a male

I'm not a huge comic fan but this isn't about comics to me. It's about freedom of speech and not giving in to every person on the Internet that gets offended. If we keep letting people get there way and change everything due to political correctness then what is going to happen to our society. Furthermore art should push boundaries and make people think. When you water things down for the masses it just really dumbs things down in the long run. I hope this I spires others to sign. Thank you

Censorship is a wicked thing. These totalitarian whiners aren't comic fans, but a bandwagon lynchmob ready to attack the latest thing they are told to

Don't presume to tell me what is offensive or not. If you don't like don't buy it. But don't take that right from me because you are so easily offended. Fuck off!
