I have been around disc golf at this park my whole life. Since beginning playing, disc golf has been a integral part of my anti-anxiety regimen and I believe it to be an asset for La Mirada.

La Mirada is an historic course for one of the fastest growing sports in the country. Southern California is one of the meccas of the sport and La Mirada is a destination for disc golfer from around the country and world.

Please keep this iconic disc golf course open. It is a grear place for families, friends, and everyday people to enjoy the park and get outside. This park is utilized by all different types of people from all walks of life.

I am from Australia but over the last 25 years visited California many times. One of the first things I do each time is play the La Mirada course. Not only is it a great course but a beautiful public park. Please do not destroy this park.

It's ludicrous that the city would build a facility for a THIRD PARTY maintenance subcontractor and trample over the most frequent park users. We bring usage and local commerce (read: REVENUE STREAM) that will never be replaced by a shiny lawn mower museum.
Just another case of short sighted beareaucratic thoughtlessness.
Shame on you, city of Lami.

This course has created world champions. It's got a ton of my "firsts" in the game of disc golf and half of those are from the backside. I love this course, I wish we still had the Golden State Classic and I don't want to say to new disc golfers in the future "you should have played this course when we had 18 holes in the backside, it was world-class back then".

La Mirada disc golf course is a Southern California treasure. Many people visit La Mirada solely for the purpose of playing disc golf there. It would be a travesty to build over that part of the park.
