Please don´t close the back 18 course in La Mirada. It´s an iconic course known all over the world and played by people from all over the world. Many Europeans dream of coming to La Mirada and playing this classic course. It would be a real loss to the DG World.

I’ve played on this course numerous times and would be devastated to see it go! It’s a staple to La Mirada, and one of the things I enjoy most in this town! Please keep this wonderful course just the way it is.

Closing the Backside 18 would be a huge blow to not only La Mirada Regional Park, but also to the disc golf community. People from around the globe come to La Mirada to play both the Lakeside 18 and the Backside 18, as well as the much celebrated Golden State/West Coast 18 long layout, all of which are considered bucket-list courses. The Backside 18 offers a beautiful picturesque setting, and is an excellent place for bird-watching, with many species of birds on site. Please, consider all other options, and do not close down the Backside 18. It would be a considerable loss for the city of La Mirada as well as the County of Los Angeles to lose this icon of a course, especially now, with the game of disc golf going mainstream and showing tremendous growth.

Please don’t remove this side of the park it is extremely beautiful and most people that are back there are discgolfers, this community is definitely going to be devastated for this course being removed. La Mirada is a would class discgolf course people come from everywhere just to play this course. Thanks for understanding

Please don’t discount the ability for this course to attract international visitors like myself to your country. I specifically visited California in 2013 to play this course. Let the disc golf world grow around you, the world is starting to see how the growth of disc golf is turning locations into tourism draws, this course is one. Chris Finn - Perth Western Australia
