This is one of the top courses in the world, to the fastest growing sport in the world... Surely there are other ways to monetize the area? This would be comparable to ripping out a hole on Pebble Beach golf course and not expecting negative outcomes.

This would be a tragedy. We should be building MORE places for those that want to, can get outside for some exercize and fresh air, not tearing into those sanctuaries.

It would be an absolute loss to the public to loose the large portion of the park. As it stands now there are already too few open public places available.

This course is one of the most iconic in southern california. I learned to play here and always prefered the backside course. Please reconsider removing this course. Even after moving hours away I still come back to play the La Mirada disc golf course multiple times a year.

The disc golf course is a gem, please do not take away any more land. I drive to La Mirada from Huntington Beach at least twice a month to play here. I spend money at local business while there. The world needs more green spaces not less.

Please do not destroy the park. It is the 2nd Disc Golf Course created in the world. It used to be a huge Championship course, but you gave up part for The Splash water park. We lost 7-8 holes and that shortened the course. If you take the back you will essentially prevent the 2nd Disc Golf Course in the world from being used as any future Major Disc Golf Tournament. Disc Golf is getting more and more popular. With the right Disc Golf Pro Shop Operators the county could be making a fortune... there is no good reason to split it up. The course is over 43 years old. In 7 more years it will be 50. I started plaing in 1975 just before they put in the baskets. It was an awesome after school event for me and it kept me off drugs, gangs and other bad activities. Please don't do it! Please support disc golf and keep it. Thank you.

Not a fan of this idea. Sounds unnecessary.

Please dont remove it! That is a LM hallmark. The disc golf course is the only reason a lot of people have even HEARD of La Mirada.
