This isn't terrible! Have they cancelled all art classes? They were always well attended when I did my courses there.

Our cultural spaces are so very important - first libraries, now creative spaces. They are not that expensive to support - please save them.

A place to be, a place to share, a place to learn. A space to build friendships and community. The place for viewing OUR city, enjoying our views and sharing all our wonderful art in its many guises. See sense, this space is for us. save it for us and future generations, please.

The building was initially an art college, attended among others by the louche Frankiie Vaughan ('Give me the moonlight, Give me the girl ..') The city needs these rooms and he wishes of the founders should be respected.

The loss of this space will have a hugely detrimental impact on the local community but particularly on the local community of people with disabilities, for some there is very little else in terms of opportunities for engagement in creative arts and continuing education

It is such a huge waste of resources to close this down - all the pottery wheels and kilns will be lost - along with so much expertise. Please rethink your decision.

Please think about saving something you have spent money on. It is like Bolton le Sands library. You remodel it and then close it down. What a waste.
