This is right next to the Chatham Historical Society. I can't imagine they would not be able to use this building and showcase it. They paved paradise and put up a parking lot....Now I'm going to have Joni Mitchel's song Big Yellow Taxi stuck in my head all day.

One of a few historical landmarks in the town I grew up in. Certainly a parking lot can be found somewhere else!

If the house is a historical landmark in East Hampton, it should be left alone! They don't need another parking lot!

East Hampton has a long history and this house is the only house still existing from the 18th century structure still existing. It should ot be demolished to make way for a parking lot!! Do not destroy this piece of history.
