Don't make a mistake all future generations will regret. Get an architect with experience with historical buildings.

I am not only against the demolition of the amp, but also the wasteful and unneccesary spending of 30 million dollars which could be desperately used elsewhere in our empoverished county.

I have fond memories of sitting on the old wooden steps to hear Marian Anderson sing, and of sitting on the edge of the stage years later to hear the New Christie Minstrals. It would be heartbreaking to watch the destruction of those and so many more memories.

The longer this controversy goes on the more I feel like there was a bait and switch action. Ian disappointed in the lack of transparency. Moreover I am increasingly upset that we homeowners are prevented from making changes that would make our homes more live able in the 21stcentyry based on out-dated rules if the architectural Eview Board. Yet it seems the Institution itself is immune.
