Chatauqua has to be one of my favorite places I'd ever been to. Don't tear this down.

Chautauqua IS history. It should cherish its heritage. Certain venues got too small for audiences. They were historic. They thrived. My father re-did the Amp around 1980. People come regardless of the posts and uncomfortable seats. Fix it and let it be a gift of the past, for the future.

Please do not demolish the amp. Maybe make some safety improvements but preserve the historical integrity. Improve adult programming and prices for county residents.

Reevaluate programming, give careful thought to surrounding areas before work begins so as to not lose trees or damage property. We've all lived with imperfect sight lines and can continue to do so. Save the amp!
