Save the Alliston Memorial Arena

On Tuesday March 20th there is a public meeting to discuss the fate of the Alliston memorial arena. This building, in the centre of town is so well used; I just don't understand why council would want to tear it down. It's a community centre in the middle of town. Lots of people can walk safely to it and home from it. It is the best place in town to have a Jack and Jill. The arena floor hosts ball hockey for all ages, the roller derby, rodeo and teen dances just to name a few. The hall upstairs is used for dance lessons, aerobics and lots of parties! The meeting is at 7pm on the ice surface. If the Circle Theatre doesn't re-open and there's no bowling alley...what is there to do in town? PLEASE help us save this building! We need this in our community! Meaghan McCague (Awesome, concerned citizen)
