I would strongly urge the DOE to keep the academy. Rather than eliminating advanced programs that provide opportunities to students of the district, the DOE should be adding to them.

PS 122 Gifted and Talent become through out the year a valuable resource for the community.
By eliminating this program , you compromise the education of many kids in our community.

The Academy was an integral part of my upbringing in NYC - it was a safe space to learn and be creative and everyone who came out of my year is still very close. This is important to keep!

My son is a student here and he loves his teachers. Why would they want to ruin a program that actually works for these kids?? Keep it open.
