Porsche owe the 924/44 a debt of gratitude for saving them from financial ruin during the 1975-85 period. Don't sweep the 924/44 under the carpet.

As the owner of a 968 a 924 and a 993 l am a fully paid up member of the Porsche fan club. These cars need to be supported by the company that made them as they are true icons and stand proud against cars of today

I own a Porsche 924 Turbo 1979... I am restoring it for the second time and I am encountering great difficulties to find some spare parts. Although the transaxle Poesche share many parts with other cars, Porsche dows not provide any information of equivalent parts. Although I live in Spain, I was forced to buy spares in the USA just because the only organization that assists is the Porsche club... buying parts in the USA forces us to pay freight and import taxes... the 924 brought Porsche back from the brink of bankrupcy in 1974 (difficult times due to the increase of oil prices). It is very unfair that Porsche does no do a greater effort to support the enthusiats that keep these beautiful cars on the road. Porsche should show more pride for its history ant the transaxle Porsches are certainly historical cars!

I plan to keep my 928 for a very long time. It would be reassuring to know that parts will continue to be available for it.

fantastic and important segment of Porsche history. One that should not be forgotten and the owners and fans have long been the caretaker for great automobiles such as the 924.

Agree with trying to save anything with a Porsche crest...as a 964 owner, I'm very lucky in that most parts are still available, but to preserve brand value and originality, this needs to extend to all models (....I may well own a 928 soon, so have a vested interest!)

The lack of these parts takes complete cars that should be restored to Parts Heaven. We should not be dismantling these classics just for the purpose of maintenance. Bring the true enthusiast what they need.
