Not only is it bad enough that children have to travel on the worst buses imaginable, that would be an embarrassment to public health in China or India, but to then withdraw provision for so many students is just a blatant disregard for their safety in their daily journey to and from school

It was bad enough when they withdrew the right to free travel but this is unacceptable.

It use to apply that if your child lives 3 miles or more from a religious school the council has to provide a service - only applies obviously if you are baptised catholic attending a catholic school

My daughter uses this service and I do not drive. She would have to catch 2 buses without it and set off an hour earlier due to bus times. It deeply saddens me that it is being removed. It is unsafe for 11 year olds to be catching 2 buses to school on their own.

Please save our school bus. Our children rely on this service. How can it be financially viable to run the service after school, but not in the mornings? Always the Catholic schools that have to suffer the cuts. How about removing parkwoods school busses instead. Most of those kids only live a couple of miles from the school. If tgis bus is removed for Notre Dame. It will increase passenger numbers on other school busses therefore jeopardizing passenger safety. MAKE YOUR CUTS ELSEWHERE. BUT NOT AT NOTRE DAME.

What a great time to scrap a school bus service. In the middle of winter, as nights are darker and colder. Such an awful idea, it will only cause overcrowding and disruption to other services as well as to people's daily lives!!! People living in the north side of Sheffield will be travelling for much longer to and from school. Many have had the opportunity to go to such a well respected school being Notre Dame due to the accessibility. The school being miles out of their villages may have only been an option due to the 'reliable' bright bus which was believe to transport children to and from school daily, safely. Appalled.
