Please restore downtown service for the #11 Lincoln Bus! The CTA trains have become dirty and dangerous, making the need for the Lincoln Bus to once again reach the Loop after being cancelled years ago. Other bus routes necessitate transferring from one bus to another, there are no direct routes.

Disabled people along this route see a bus route as a better alternative. They dont have to wait for an elevator or climb stairs like they would at the train stations.

The return of this bus would really ease travel for those of us with mobility issues that make the long diagonal-street blocks hard to traverse, and for whom the walks from the brown line to Lincoln are actually difficult to impossible. This is an active and busy corridor with lots of businesses, shopping and nightlife and should be more easily accessible, not less.

I used to take the 11 from Lincoln Square down to Irving Park area... Now I just use Uber. Bring back #11 please.

I just moved to this area, and I find it dismaying that the #11 ends at Western. The Brown Line takes me absolutely nowhere near the places I want to go to on Lincoln Ave, and I feel absolutely no inclination to go to many of the otherwise interesting-looking locations along that corridor because I have to go so far out of my way to get to them. If nothing else you're putting money in Uber's pockets instead of those of the CTA because folks who can afford it don't want to be bothered with having to truck across several blocks just to get where they want to go.

Shutting this bus down hurt our street and businesses so badly. Businesses told me that after the bus shut down, many of their customers could not get to them and that is why they were closing. Please start this bus again.

Cutting this route was such a horrible mistake, when you consider it's lead to businesses closing down, such as this one: http://www.dnainfo.com/chicago/20140605/lakeview/jazze-junque-cookie-jar-shop-closing-its-not-like-it-used-be And STOP with the BS that the Brown Line is a substitute for #11's elimination southeast of Western, CTA!

Please bring this bus route back. It made commuting to the northwest area so much easier, especially when raining or snowing.

The #11 bus would be such a convenient option. I have a long walk to the brown line.

As someone who lives off Lincoln near Wrightwood and Sheffield, losing the 11 bus has had a huge impact. For many local trips, the Brown and Red lines are not a substitute, require walking longer distances, and more inconvenient. There are numerous ways to save money, but cutting vital bus lines is not the right way to go.

I used the #11 to get to Sulzer Regional Library from Lake View.
